Welcome! After a long search for an activity that was just right for my interests, resources and time, I discovered photography.  I have been captivated ever since, especially seeking out images of wildlife.  The craft brings nature, travel, and technology together.  It is also a catalyst for exploring the world around me — from small details in my own neighborhood to adventures in far-off lands.  Images that capture the wonder of wildlife, beauty of landscapes, or the rough edges of places require good planning, countless hours invested, focused observation, technical skill and patience.  To be at a place and time when light and shadow fall perfectly on a subject is truly magical.  The process, the effort, the moments in the field, and the friends I have made along the way are the greatest reward.  These images are both a memory of those experiences and inspiration to seek out more.
